A home shaped by stone
Armadale Residence
by B.E. Architecture
Armadale Residence is a double-storey home with basement and pool, for a couple looking to downsize without compromising on space, comfort or quality. Deep voids, courtyards and extensive glazing bring natural light into the home, while the planning creates a strong connection between the interior and landscaped terraces.
The defining material is split granite, with approximately 260 tonnes of stone forming the external façade and continuing throughout the interior. Three types of granite are used across floors, walls, bathrooms and custom elements, including a solid stone bath and basins, creating a consistent material language throughout the residence.
LBA Construction Group worked closely with B.E Architecture and specialist stonemasons to coordinate the stonework, architectural detailing and custom fabrication required to achieve this continuity. The result is a home where substantial materials and fine detailing are carefully balanced, with craftsmanship evident throughout.
