Transformation of two into one
LDS II Residence
by Davidov Architects
LDS II Residence is a highly considered transformation of two existing homes into one cohesive contemporary residence.
Defined by restraint, refined materiality and enduring craftsmanship, the project transforms without excess — proving luxury lies in thoughtful resolution. A core group of existing elements were worth honouring from the outset: oak parquetry, Juparana granite, brass hardware. Where originals couldn't be sourced, the design found ways to pay tribute rather than replicate.
Two linking elements, a walled central courtyard, and a careful weaving of existing materials into something entirely new.
