St Kilda Residence is a single-storey home on a prominent north-facing corner site. Rammed earth is central to the architecture, providing both the defining material expression and significant thermal mass, with its texture and natural variation complemented by timber, stone and refined detailing.

LBA Construction Group worked closely with ADDARC, the engineer and specialist rammed earth contractor to develop detailing, coordinate formwork and services, and prototype key elements before construction. Joinery, flooring and other internal elements were carefully integrated with the rammed earth walls, maintaining the clarity of the design while accommodating the material's inherent characteristics.

Passive design measures, solar generation, rainwater reuse, heat pumps and enhanced insulation further support the home's long-term performance, resulting in a robust and highly considered residence.
