Between solidity + transparency
Sorrento House
by Matyas Architects
Sorrento House is a double-storey coastal residence conceived around its extraordinary beachfront setting. The U-shaped plan creates a strong sense of shelter and privacy while opening the home towards the ocean, framing views from almost every room. Concrete and Corten steel form a robust architectural envelope, balanced by expansive frameless glazing that dissolves the boundary between interior and landscape. The result is a home that feels protected from the elements while remaining intimately connected to its surroundings.
LBA Construction Group worked to deliver the project's rigorous material palette and highly detailed architectural expression, creating a refined coastal residence where structure, landscape and outlook are brought together with clarity and restraint.
